Krista is the female main character and protagonist in the Samuel Kyber’s Worlds Apart series.
Contents
Krista is a survivor of the Droug’s takeover of her home, Alvatros. Once a thriving community, the city was attacked and occupied by the Droug, who began indoctrinating survivors and putting them into their army.
Somehow, Krista survived, escaping capture, and began trying to obtain a keystone to activate a portal, through which she could escape, causing grief to the Drougs in the process. This leads to the events of Worlds Apart.
Plotline
Worlds Apart 1
Krista is first seen stalking a Drougs officer called Varek, who had captured Sam and brought him to Alvatros. After shooting two Drougs guards, she attacks Varek in attempt to obtain his keystone, but her plasma gun shots succeed only in gaining his attention (because he has a force field).
The two then get into an extended fight. Krista manages to grab the keystone, but loses it in the ensring battle. Unknown to her at the time, Sam manages to gain possession of the keystone, right before the two escape on a passing train.
Despite her initial distrust (and dislike of being touched), Krista slowly warms up to Sam after he reveals that he had gotten the keystone for her (but at first pretends not to give it to her). Then two are then forced to flee as the train is halted, their presence discovered.
The pair then make their way to the remains of the city of Alvatros. There, they get in a brief skirmish with a small group of Drougs soldiers that were apprehending citizens. Sam takes Krista’s handgun and shoots two of them (though his accuracy was at first dismal), and Krista then stabs the third. Sam tried to hand her back her gun, but she indicates to him to keep it.
Later, Sam manages to activate the keystone from the energy from the plasma gun he still had. He then went in the portal with his pals.
Worlds Apart 2
In Episode 2, Krista is first seen hanging by her wrists, unconscious, on a conveyer belt in the ceiling of a Droug ‘captive conversion’ factory.
It is there that Sam finds her, managing to rescue her. The two then destroy the generator that powered the ‘converter’, disabling the factory and freeing the captives from the conveyor.
Sam and Krista hijack a Droug dropship and fly towards the portal. However, the Boss Box Droug changed the layout of the portal as they flew through it and they landed in a barren wasteland. There they saw the exiled Varek. The Droug forces used the portal to attack the city. The final scene shows the Droug mothership and the Droug forces preparing for their assault upon the city.
Worlds Apart 3
Episode three starts with a scene of the Droug armies destroying the resistance. Then the scene cuts to Krista and Sam confronting Varek, who walks away, signalling for them to follow him. They walk into what seems like a dilapidated, run-down version of the Droug mothership. There, Varek recharged the Keystone and showed Krista a map of all the planets the Droug had taken over. The trio then go back to the city. When disabling the main source for Droug, Krista gets severely wounded with a gash to her stomach after a blade hit her there. Sam disables it and the humans who were converted to Drougs are normal again.
Appearance
Krista has blue hair, cat ears, and light-toned skin. Her clothing is a mix of black, brown, and white. She carries a plasma sword strapped to her back and a plasma handgun at her hip.
Personality
Though at times distrustful, Krista shows herself to be brave, intelligent, and determined. She is also very appreciative of other’s attempts to help her.

Notes before you Apply:
We are always interested in welcoming new members to the Black Plasma Studios team, however these are important positions.
We’re looking for people who are interested in the channel itself, not simply uploading videos for easy views.
To simplify the application process, we have condensed the positions Stage 1 and Stage 2 into one animator position called BPS Animator.
If you are successful in applying for the Builder or Rigger positions, you will be given a role on our Discord and contacted when opportunities become available.
This is for the main animator position at BPS. We’re looking for animators who love creating Minecraft animations and have a style and subject matter which fits well with Black Plasma Studios.
— Animation experience in Blender.
— Experience creating all aspects of an animation (animation, lighting, video/sound editing, graphics etc.)
— Previous involvement in the BPS community.
— Access to Discord to attend meetings and share updates of your projects.
What we expect from you:
— High quality animations which fit well with the other animations already on the channel.
— The ability for you to create all aspects of your animations (animating, lighting, sound design, graphics, etc.)
— Time to meet with us occasionally and share work-in-progress drafts of your animations.
— We would like you to include patron skins in your animations where possible, this is not a requirement.
What you can expect from us:
— Access to BPS assets including but not limited to loops, rigs, HDRIs, skins etc.
— The ability to create additional content on Black Plasma Community.
— BPS Animator role on our Discord.
— Regular feedback and help with your project.
— Your channel will be added to the BPS channel page.
How you will be paid:
— You will receive 100% of the earnings from your videos each month.
— You will also receive additional earnings including but not limited to Patreon, Merch etc.

— We will need to see a fair amount of your animations, at least 5 minutes worth in total.
— Please show evidence you can create all aspects of your animation (e.g. lighting, sound editing etc.)
— We would also like to hear a bit about yourself, your future plans, and why you are applying for BPS.
— If you are successful in your application, there will be a trial period where you can work on an animation you plan to release on the BPS channel. We will provide regular feedback and you can work on this in your own time.
— When the animation is complete, and we believe it is suitable for the channel, you will be offered a place at Black Plasma Studios.
This position is for creating the various rigs we need for animations. You will be invited to the Discord server and given the Rigger role. We’re looking for people with a passion for rigging and have created Minecraft-related rigs before.
— Experience in rigging, preferably Minecraft-related.
— Access to Discord so we can contact you for projects.
How you will be paid:
— Rigs will be commissioned. Payments will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

This position is for building the sets and Minecraft assets for use in our animations. You will be invited to the Discord and given the Builder role. We’re looking for people who love building in Minecraft and have worked on build projects before.
