Welcome to the Official DragonFire Mod getting started guide! On the page you will find a detailed guide starting with how to download the mod to finding and creating your first dragon!
Editor Note: This guide specifically applies to Windows users, though the steps are very similar for people using MacOS. For a guide on how to install mods in general on MacOS please visit this link. The information in this guide should be very similar to what you need to do on MacOS but may not be exact.

How to Install DragonFire:
Installing a Minecraft Mod is a fairly simple thing to do and will be outlined in steps below along with a video to help anyone get playing!
Step 1) Install Minecraft:
This step may seem straightforward to some, but is worth clarifying. You must first visit the official Minecraft site and purchase and download a valid copy of Minecraft. This site will walk you through installing the game!
Step 2) Launch Minecraft at least once:
This step will only apply to those who just installed minecraft, though this ensures best results with our future steps, especially when downloading Minecraft Forge.
Step 3) Download Minecraft Forge for 1.12.2:
Start by visiting the Minecraft Forge page for 1.12.2. You can visit that site by clicking here. It is important you use the link in this post as you may accidentally install Minecraft Forge for the wrong version else-wise.
Once on this page, you are going to want to navigate to the «Download Recommended» section of the site. Once on this section, you are going to want to click the «Installer» button.
Once you have clicked this button, you will be brought to an Adfoc.us page. There will likely be ads on this page and to ensure you select the right option, wait 5 seconds and in the top right corner of the page you will see a red button titled «Skip,» click this button.
This will begin the download of Minecraft Forge.
Step 4) Install Minecraft Forge for 1.12.2:
Now that you have downloaded Minecraft Forge, you must install this! This step is quit simple. To do this, all you must do is navigate to the file that has been downloaded. (It will either be above your hot bar through your browser or in your Downloads folder.
It should be titled «forge-1.12.2-14.23.5.2854-installer.jar». Once you have found this file, simply open it.
A window should open and you’ll want to select the option «Install Client,» then click «OK.»
This will open a new window and you will see a green progress bar. Wait for Forge to install and work it’s magic and after a few short minutes you should have something like this!
Congratulations, you’ve just installed Minecraft Forge, but we’re not done yet!
Step 5) Launch Minecraft Forge for 1.12.2:
Next, you’ll have to open your Minecraft Launcher and set your profile to 1.12.2-forge-14.23.5.2854, the profile name may likely be as this installation is generated by forge. If you do not have this profile option, click here for a tutorial on how to create a profile!
Then simply click play! Launch the game, then close it. This ensures we generate all the necessary files to make this next step seamless!
Step 6) Install the DragonFire Mod:
Finally, navigate to the DragonFire Patreon and download the latest build of the mod. This download will be found in the same place as the forge installer was from Step 4.
You’ll then need to go to the bottom right of your screen, down to the Search bar. you’ll then type the following text, exactly into the search bar: %appdata& and hit enter.
Once you hit enter, navigate to the folder titled «.minecraft» and then to the folder titled «mods.» Once you’re here, simply move the DragonFire file you downloaded off the Patreon to this folder and then close it.
Step 7) Play DragonFire!
The final step is to simply open the Minecraft launcher, ensure you are still selected on the same profile as Step 5 and click play! To ensure you have the mod installed you, on the main menu, click the «Mods» button and scroll down the list, you should see DragonFire in this list! This means you’ve successfully installed the DragonFire Mod. Enjoy!

Огненные драконы

Как добавить мод в игру Minecraft?
Обновление:
После установки файлы с модом Ice And Fire 1.12.2.jar и Llibrary 1.12.2.jar будут расположены в папке .minecraft/mods, а вам всего лишь необходимо установить основной мод Minecraft Forge и запустить игру с добавленными дополнениями.

Кстати, автор мода продумал рост драконов до мелочей. Ибо они имеют целых пять стадий. И каждая из них меняет рост и внешний вид дракона. Еще стоит сразу же сказать о том, что все они спавнятся либо в пещерах, либо в своих гнездах.
Места, где живут огненные драконы, появляются лишь в теплых биомах и имеют рандомность. А у их братьев ледяных, наоборот. Все логова имеют три вида. Это может быть обычное гнездо, темная и уютная пещерка или же место, на котором они спят. Так как драконы падки на всякие сокровища, то игрок всегда сможет найти чем поживиться. Здесь часто появляются различные яйца и манускрипты. Также присутствует золото.
Наверное, имеет смысл более подробнее рассказать о яйцах. Они начинают появляться в логовах только тогда, когда родитель имеет четвертую стадию, или же выше. Когда яйцо будет находиться в достаточно теплом месте, то из него появится маленький дракошка. Он станет самым лучшим другом для игрока. Более подробную информацию можно получить из бестиария, который находится в самой игре.
Дабы игрок не чувствовал себя одиноким, автор добавит жителей, которые проживают в снежных местах. Чтобы выжить в суровых условиях, они создали себе копье. С помощью него они ловят себе рыбу. С новыми мобами можно торговать. Они имеют такой же интерфейс, как и обычные жители, но в качестве оплаты принимают сапфиры, а не изумруды.
Где-то выше мы уже упоминали о том, что в моде есть бестиарий, который рассказывает о всех вещях из мода. Эта некий гайд для новичков. Создать его можно, используя три манускрипта. В самом начале они имеют небольшой список информации. Чтобы пополнить его, нужно использовать кафедру. А еще нужно добавлять туда новые манускрипты.
В этой модификации присутствуют не только драконы, но и множество других фантастических тварей, которые часто будут агрессивны к игроку. Но есть и положительные мобы.
