Emoticons is a cosmetic Minecraft mod which adds custom player animations (which can be disabled, see FAQ ) and emote system. There are 62 emotes (you can also animate your own, see FAQ ) which can be triggered by the player using keybinds which come with the mod.

Install Install Minecraft Forge, download the latest stable version of jar file for available Minecraft version. Also install following mods: McLib. Put it in minecraft’s mods folder, and launch the game.
After that, Emoticons mod should be installed and will appear in Minecraft’s mods menu. If Emoticons didn’t appear in the mods menu, then something went wrong.
FAQ Q: I don’t like Emoticons’ animations, but emotes are very cool. Can I disable them?
Q: Will you downgrade/upgrade mod to other version of Minecraft?
A: No. It’s gonna stay 1.12.2 (and 1.8.9) only.
Q: I’m using 1.8.9 version and it says something about «mclib»?
A: You need to install McLib for 1.8.9 so it would work.
Q: I’m playing with my friends on the server, and why I can’t see them emote, or they can’t see me emote?
A: In order to see other people emote, the server must also install the mod. No mod on the server, no people emoting.
Q: Can you add support with mod X?
A: No, I won’t add support with any other mods.
Q: Can I add custom emotes myself?
A: Yes, watch this tutorial video! Those are not synchronized across clients though. You’ll have to manually send these emote files to other people.
Q: I’ve seen emotes exactly like yours in an X client. Do you know about it?
A: Most likely I know about this, as I gave permission to use the mod’s source in their client. The known clients to me are Badlion and Lunar.
Q: Can you add custom music to emotes?
A: No, because I have no time/skill to make cool tunes for every emote, and if I use the original audio that would be illegal. However, you can replace the sounds in Emoticons’ jar. Keep in mind that these sounds are going to loop.

Честно говоря, во время игры на каком-либо сервере не всегда хватало возможности как-либо выразить свои эмоции. Теперь же появилась отличная возможность сделать это. Каким образом? Все очень просто. Теперь можно с помощью специальных команд воспроизводить движения из игры Fortnite. Знакомая игра, не правда ли? Данный мод довольно глобальный, поскольку влияет на анимацию игры в целом и несколько изменяет ее, поскольку новые движения не остались бесследными на остальных движениях игрока. Данный мод содержит большое количество удобных настроек, которые позволят настроить индивидуально каждое движение в игре. Как же это было сделано? Все просто. В игровом меню нужно выбрать определенное движение, после чего открыть его настройки и добавить нужные функции.
Более 38 новых движений в игре Каждое движение привязывается определенной клавишей или связкой клавиш.

В: Можете ли вы добавить собственную музыку в эмоции? A: Нет, потому что нет времени / умения делать классные мелодии для каждой эмоции, и если я использую оригинальное аудио, это будет незаконно. Однако вы можете создать свой собственный пакет ресурсов или поместить звуки в банку смайликов и заменить звуковые события смайликов.
В: Мне не нравятся анимации смайликов, но эмоции очень крутые. Могу ли я отключить их? A: Вы можете отключить их в 0.2.1 в меню конфигурации emote.

Third update. This quick patch provides few important tweaks, it removed the F1 watermark, fixes dying animation not showing up during emote, adds empty sound events for dances, adds an option in emote configuration menu to disable non-emote animations, decreased the file size of the jar, and finally added extra information on the crash screen (so it would be easy to understand what’s going on with access key).
