Кампус
Гостиничный комплекс ДВФУ на о. Русском предназначен для проживания студентов, где они могут готовиться к занятиям, отдыхать, общаться с друзьями.
Гостиничные корпуса оборудованы необходимой мебелью. Постельные принадлежности выдаются при заселении. Дважды в неделю номер убирают работники клининговой компании.
На каждом этаже каждого жилого корпуса расположены кухни для самостоятельного приготовления пищи, которые укомплектованы необходимым оборудованием. В гостиничных корпусах оборудованы мини-прачечные для самостоятельной стирки.
Для проживания студентам ДВФУ доступны следующие виды номеров: одноместный, двухместный.
Для студентов очной формы обучения, для слушателей программ дополнительного образования, для обучающихся проходящих стажировки и практики в ДВФУ, для абитуриентов, зачисленных приказом на 1 курс предоставляются:

Game: What’s my problem?
Обучающие игры на уроках английского языка должны быть интересными, чтобы ученики вовлекались в процесс. «What’s my problem» является именно такой. Игра помогает расширить свой словарь и закрепить пройденную лексику.
Как играть? На стикерах пишутся различные жизненные проблемы, а затем листочки в случайном порядке расклеиваются на спины студентов. Далее студенты общаются и спрашивают друг друга, куда мне обратиться и что мне нужно сделать, чтобы избавиться от этой проблемы. Но при этом вашему партнеру нельзя называть саму проблему. Студенту нужно на основе советов угадать, в чем именно заключается его проблема, написанная на спине. Это может быть любая вымышленная проблема со здоровьем, работой, семьей и так далее.

Ход проведения. Каждый участник игры по очереди рассказывает свой любимый анекдот. Игрок, который его знает, прерывает рассказчика и заканчивает сам. Если ему удалось это сделать, он зарабатывает 1 очко, которое вы фиксируете на доске напротив его имени. Если рассказчика никто не прервал и он закончил свой анекдот, то 1 очко зарабатывает он. Игра продолжается до тех пор, пока каждый её участник не расскажет свой любимый анекдот. В финале полученные баллы суммируются и определяется победитель игры.

On campus, you’ll study and live with peers from all over the world while learning from renowned faculty in our classrooms.
Mount Vernon Campus
If you’re looking for open-air lawns and lush green spaces within D.C.’s metropolitan setting, you’ll find it at our Mount Vernon Campus, affectionately known as «The Vern,» which sits three miles northwest of Foggy Bottom. The Vern’s 25-acre campus is composed of athletic facilities and residence halls and is never more than a short ride from Foggy Bottom on our Vern Express shuttle, which is available 24 hours a day.
Virginia Campuses and Online Education
Our Virginia Science and Technology Campus (VSTC) houses facilities dedicated to nationally recognized STEM-H programs related to health sciences, big data and analytics, high-performance computing and more. Graduate education centers in Alexandria and Arlington provide educational opportunities to local working professionals, while a growing number of online programs make it possible for students around the world to attain a GW education.
Living at GW
In your first three years, you’ll live in one of 26 residence halls on the Foggy Bottom and Mount Vernon campuses. You can choose your room based on costs, hall amenities, location and even select roommates through GW’s iHousing program. Room styles vary per hall and include multi-person units, singles, studios, suites and some apartment-style rooms with kitchens.
Through our affinity housing you can live in groups of like-minded students who share the same passion for sports, literature, film and more. Our living and learning communities — such as the Women’s Leadership Program and the Politics and Values Community — integrate critical thinking into residential life.
All new buildings and major renovation projects at GW are constructed to meet current accessibility standards, and all shuttles serving GW routes are designed to meet ADA accessibility guidelines and requirements for safe and secure transportation.
Thurston Hall
Take a look inside Thurston, which houses more than 1,110 of our first-year students. Rooms include options for four-, five- and six-person suites as well as a limited number of doubles and triples.
District House
District House is our newest and second largest residence hall. While some students can live in two-bedroom units holding four people or studios holding two, District House also has special affinity housing where 16-20 students from approved student organizations can live, learn and experience together.
Dining at GW
The city of D.C. is a big part of life at GW, including where and how our students eat. Our open dining plan provides flexibility and personalization, offering you the opportunity to use yours at more than 90 dining and grocery partners on or near the Foggy Bottom and Mount Vernon campuses, and around the city. Grab a salad with some friends between classes or power up before a big exam with a coffee from one of the many on-campus coffee shops. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options are widely available for your dietary preferences. For any given meal, you could explore the city through a variety of restaurants or instead enjoy a quiet evening at home by cooking up some food you bought at the grocery store. GW is also home to a student-run food pantry.
No matter your dietary preferences or your busy schedule, your dining plan provides you with unique, healthy and convenient options to meet your needs and tastes.
Campus Safety
Student safety is a top priority at GW, and our Division of Safety and Security provides a secure campus environment at each of our locations with the partnership of all areas of our university. We also partner with local law enforcement and the community to keep our students safe. With more than 100 sworn officers, the GW Police Department protects the community by providing 24-hour patrol services to the Foggy Bottom and Mount Vernon campuses and overseeing security at GW’s Virginia Science and Technology Campus.
You can download GW Guardian, a free personal safety app, that connects you directly with emergency services and enables users both on and off campus to receive emergency notifications. When you’re looking for a safe ride around Foggy Bottom, schedule a GW Safe Ride, a late-night service that transports you to and from buildings on campus. You can schedule your ride up to two hours in advance and can track the van’s progress as it arrives to pick you up.

Our Mission: Campus Life empowers students to discover and define themselves and their communities through advising, programs and resources.
The Department of Campus Life is organized to support students and student groups in creating communities on campus that contribute to their success at Washington University. This includes learning how to get involved on campus through student groups, including fraternities and sororities, planning events and activities, and areas of self-governance through Student Union, the undergraduate student government. Washington University currently features over 400 registered student groups that create a vibrant and active campus environment.

University strongly supports creative initiatives by students. There are different student clubs: choir, instrumental band, vocal studio, DJ-club, dance-club, young audio engineers’ club “Sound”, creative laboratory “Flash club”, philosophers club “Eidos”, art critics club “Art-planet”, foreign language study clubs “European parlour” and “The University English club”, psychological club, archaeological club, photo club “Art of photo”, Law faculty clubs “Femida” and “21st century lawyer”, journalists club “Views”, club “Advertising and PR”, students creative union “Social work as creativity”, public speaking lessons.
Everyday Life and Leisure
Everyday life and leisure of SPbUHSS students are perfectly organized. There is a comfortable House of Students for those who come from other regions. There is a cafeteria, 4 cafes, medical center, bookstore, recreation facilities, pharmacy, laundry, lounges “The Beach” and “Italian Street”.
SPbUHSS students enjoy healthy lifestyle and believe that practicing sport is inseparable from success in life. Sport and fitness center named after Professor Mikhail Bobrov helps them achieve their goals.
Safety and order in the University are recognized as a model to follow. Students never take drugs or alcohol and have never been noticed in violating rules. There is no place for racial and national intolerance within the University environment. Personal safety is of the highest level.
