Два энтузиаста поставили себе цель полностью воссоздать мир VR-шутера Half-Life: Alyx с помощью инструментария популярной песочницы Minecraft, и в ролике ниже они поделились текущими результатами своей работы, которая уже выглядит довольно впечатляюще.

Как и оригинальная Half-Life: Alyx, демонстрация кубической реконструкции начинается с вида на Сити 17 с балкона квартиры члена сопротивления Рассела и постепенно перемещается на улицы города, поражая вниманием к деталям, которое проявили Saul357 и NezoGG.

По словам энтузиастов, в ближайшее время они собираются завершить работу над воссозданием первой главы и выложить в свободный доступ демоверсию карты.

Я не понимаю как в самом начале игры ответить на звонок? Без команды «vr_enable_fake_vr» никак. Жаль физикой предметов нажимать нельзя 🙁

THIS MAP WAS MADE BEFORE THE RELEASE OF HALF-LIFE: ALYX

It was made using screenshots and early video trailers of the game and so it is VERY SMALL and INACCURATE to the actual HL:A map.

This tool is taken straight from the game Half-Life 2, it is the tool that Alyx uses to hack into combine equipment. You can now use this in Garry’s Mod! This mod is a modified vers.

The normal map is a bit odd on Valve’s end, don’t know if it’s intentional or not.

Car battery model from Half-Life: Alyx.

this mod replaces the default car battery with the one found in the steamvr maps.

the way how I decompile steamvr models doesn’t work with models with multiple materials.

This replaces the radio on and off sounds for combine soldier and metro-cop to the ones from Half-Life: Alyx. The difference is subtle but it’s there.

Icon is probably temporary until I can make a better one.

As displayed in the title and the video, This replaces two Gravity Gun sounds with the sound you hear in the Half Life Alyx trailer.

This will probably be more immersive with the hand gravity gun replacement mod, but it works only half the time.
