[1.17 Vanilla] TRON Vehicles in Vanilla Minecraft
Flubberschnub’s TRON Vehicles Datapack!
This datapack and resource pack add fully functional light cycles and light jets to vanilla Minecraft from the Tron movies! Make sure to download the resource pack and the datapack.
IMPORTANT: 1.17 support for this datapack (as well as the Discs datapack) is currently in early access and only available to Patrons. If you’d like to use it in 1.17, consider becoming a Patron, otherwise 1.17 support will be released later for the public.
How to Install:
For Mac Users:
Put the resource pack into
/Library/Application Support/minecraft/resourcepacks
Put the datapacks into
/Library/Application Support/minecraft/saves/ (The folder of your preferred world) /datapacks
Type «/reload» ingame
Play!
To get the lightcycles, run «/function lc:rez/batons/#» where ‘#’ is the type of cycle, including 4, 5, and 786.
To get the jet, run «/function lj:rez/batons/4» (more types to be added)

Light Cycles:
REZZING:
— To rez, just right click with the baton in your hand, and right click the back wheel to get in. You can only rez one bike at a time!
— To de-rez, punch near the front wheel
RIDING:
— When riding, use ‘W’ to accelerate and ‘S’ to brake.
— The Cycle will steer in the direction you look toward.
LIGHT RIBBONS (JETWALLS):
— While riding, right click with the «Activator» to rez your jetwalls. They only work at a certain speed, and you can’t accelerate faster with them activated!
Light Jets:
REZZING:
— To rez, just right click with the baton in your hand, and right click near the back to get in. You can only rez one vehicle at a time!
— The instant you enter the jet, begin accelerating. It will automatically de-rez if it’s not moving.
— To de-rez, decelerate to 0 speed.
RIDING:
— When riding, use ‘W’ to accelerate and ‘S’ to brake.
— The jetwill steer in the direction you look toward.
LIGHT RIBBONS (JETWALLS):
— While riding, right click with the «Activator» to rez your jetwalls. They only work at a certain speed, and you can’t accelerate faster with them activated!
LIGHT GUNS:
— While riding, switch to your offhand with the «Trigger» to shoot. When aiming, be sure to lead a bit forward to account for the jet’s turning speed!

Final Notes:
— to get the full effect, use Optifine since it allows the textures to glow
— completely multiplayer compatible, so you can battle it out with your friends!
— If you or your friends’ bikes start spinning wildly like they’re possessed, just derez and let go of your baton to reset.
— If you lose your vehicles and are unable to rez new ones, just run «function lc:derez/all» and «function lj:derez/all» to kill all light jets and cycles

Tron Mod for Minecraft 1.7.10
Tron is one of the most popular and classic 80’s films from Disney, and the Tron mod for Minecraft manages to weave Tron light cycles, neon lights, and a grand computer virtual world within the virtual world of Minecraft. Does your brain hurt? The mod is still in development, but it has launched in the alpha stage with a slew of peculiar and graphically bright features in design.
This is an exploratory mod in the fullest form.
The Identity Disc is Here
When digging through caves, players can come across the bright blue liquid energy that is an essential component of Tron. The energy is rare, so finding it can be a worthwhile journey. The liquid is used to make the two core and classic Tron weapons. The first is the ever-so riveting identity disc. Players can recreate scenarios from Tron by crafting this powerful boomerang that goes out with incredible range and returns with only the slightest cooldown.
Batons and Battles
The second core weapon in the mod is the baton. With eight iron and some liquid energy, players can create this virtual sword and tear through Tron-oriented virtual enemies using the German-made Minecraftian Tron map. Enemies ar spawned at will, and make this mod an exploration and experience unlike any other.
This thing is perfect for fans of the eccentric 80’s film as well as the 2006 remake. Though it lacks Daft Punk, for now, this mod is the best recreation of this meta-universe we have seen yet.
